Irgendwann vor vielen Jahren entdeckte ich eine höchst erfrischende neue französische Stimme mit lauter einfachen und doch raffinierten (Chan)Songs. Die Stimme gehörte #Zaz. Wem das auch so ging, darf jetzt aufhorchen: ARTE hat ein wie ich finde abwechselungsreiches künstlerisch-musikalisches Portrait von Zaz erstellt, das knapp eine Stunde dauert. Im MO Museum in Vilnius gedreht, vermischen sich Szenen des Besuchs der Ausstellung und persönliche Reflexionen mit Ausschnitten aus einem dort gegebenen Live-Konzert, ergänzt um einige Stücke, die ohne Publikum vorgetragen werden:

Dnes vstávám zas se #ZAZ 😝
Od rána mám fakt blbou náladu, kamarád s rodinou (2 + 3 děti) jsou pořád v Thajsku (byl tam na 16 dní) s tím, že skoro 200k na letenky fakt nemá.
Už mu byla avizovaná výpověď, přestože se jeho kolegové nabídli že jeho práci zastanou zdarma ale aby peníze dostal on.
Přitom pan majitel se z Dubaje z prodlouženého víkendu i s manželkou dostal za státní, tedy naše, peníze.
🤮
PS: majitele znám a byl to dobrý člověk, hlavně jeho otec, co jsem pochopil tak je to velký sponzor motoristů 🤦‍♀️
PS2: firma co vyhodí jednoho ze svých top inženýrů takto, si zaslouží skončit

Idén június 29-én ismét a Budapest Park színpadán áll ZAZ (Isabelle Geffroy), aki immár harmadik alkalommal érkezik önálló koncerttel Budapestre. A 2015-ös és 2019-es esték után, ez a visszatérés pontosan illik ahhoz a pályaívhez, amelyben a közvetlenség mindig fontosabb volt a póznál.

A jegyértékesítés február 5-én 10:00-kor indul, a Budapest Park hírlevelére feliratkozók pedig egy nappal korábban, február 4-én 10:00-tól válthatnak jegyet.

Zaz: "What?"

I happened to peer into the cozy sleeping cubby area of Zaz's cat tower to see what she was up to. There is a heated pad in it that I try to stop her from sleeping directly on by wrapping it in various blankets, but she always burrows into it somehow. This time I was sure I had it fixed, by putting it into an old sweater, with just a tiny neck hole buried underneath.

And there she was, as if tucked into a warm bed, her head sticking up from the neck, just woken up, as cozy as can be.

#Music rediscovery: In search of positive vibes, I rediscovered #ZAZ's first album in my music library.

I think I first heard the French singer-songwriter on the radio during a business trip to France when her first album was released, and I bought it at the time.

Her cheerfulness and lightness have hardly ever failed to lift my spirits (well, at least most of the tracks. The Piaf cover "Dans ma rue" has somewhat darker undertones).

I also like the versatility she achieves with her voice.

Zaz's favourite Caturday occupation is lying in the sun listening to great music on the turntable. She loves the golden oldies enjoyed by the golden oldies in the house!

Battle of wills.

Zaz is so cross! She really didn't want her picture taken and did her best to make it almost impossible. She pretty much fought tooth and claw to make it hard to get this photo. She had just been fighting with a tail that didn't want to be bitten and legs that refused to be cleaned and then I came along with my phone and caught her out of sorts. She was going to make me pay and so it took about 15 photos to get this, finally! (Happily I got off mostly unscathed, don't worry.)
