  1. #Purolator #shipping #tracking is simply amazing!

    Time travel,
    Bad data,
    Inability to sort by time...
    Who knows‽

  6. If you saw someone outside with a thin short-sleeved t-shirt at -12°C this morning, that was me running after a #Purolator truck that just showed up to say "Failed Delivery Attempt".

Me, catching the guy in his truck: "Hi, you tried delivering at ****…"

Them: "Yeah, intercom doesn't work" (there's a big paper sign on it that says so!)

Me: "Why didn't you call the phone number on the package?"

    Them: "I don't have a phone"

    I hate private sector couriers.
I never have issues with #CanadaPost.

  11. Where's my coffee??

What's going on with #Purolator (at least in Québec)?

These are 2 separate packages, both sent from within Québec , Canada. Neither has a future estimated delivery date, but one has a delivery date estimated due 2 days ago.

    Missed connection??
    Disruption?

What's going on? It's never usually this bad. Even if it showed any movement, which it doesn't, they never deliver here on a weekend. One contains my coffee order, so you understand the urgency!

  16. Extra Bonus Stupid Points to #purolator who picked up a package in Yellowknife, with a delivery address in Yellowknife, and now have sent it from the obviously misnamed "sort facility" in Yellowknife to a "sort facility" in Edmonton.

I'm looking forward to watching the journey to a facility in Gander before it makes its way back to Yellowknife for ultimate delivery to the destination, which is approximately TWO kilometres from the point of origin.

  21. "Tracking is currently unavailable in the app."
Well #purolator, I have bad news for you. That being so, I have precisely no reason to have your app on my phone. So it's gone.

  22. #Purolator are a joke. I have 2 parcels with them that are "delayed in transit due to ferry delay." One of them has said that for over a week.

And yeah, I'm in #Newfoundland. That does happen. BUT, we've had a week of unseasonably good weather.

I get it. #CanadaPost was on strike & Purolator's volume skyrocketed. So just admit that! Be honest about the delay.

All customer service involves some amount of smoke & mirrors. But only an idiot of a manager chooses an easily identified lie.

Please don't use Purolator for your shipping.

    Thank you.

  37. Okay it's long time for a #CanadianKvetches ...

Why the heck are package deliveries in Canada so difficult?

#CanadaPost is not great. They're slow, and they lie about making delivery attempts. Just today they claimed to have tried to deliver a package but no one was there. I've been waiting by the door all day. It never happened.

#Purolator is the worst shipping company I've ever seen. If someone uses Purolator to deliver a package to me, it's always a problem- always.

Amazon seems to use a company called #Intelcom and they somehow are worse than Purolator. They actively lie, claiming they delivered packages, then delivering them the next day, or sometimes not at all. I don't think Intelcom is a real shipping company. I think they're just an outsourced Amazon delivery company, or they'd rank worse than Purolator.

I live in a major city (Vancouver), so this should not be an issue, and UPS Canada and FedEx Canada are fine. I don't know why package delivery is so bad here...

  41. With us having moved back home after the flood, we've ordered a bunch of replacement things online.

For your address, which carriers are most reliable?

For us, from great to awful it's:
    - #CanadaPost (always on time or early, has parcel boxes in building for easy pickup)
    - #UPS (normally on time)
    .
    .

    - #FedEx (never on time)
    - Small Carriers (never on time)

    .
    - #Purolator (never on time, > 50% of parcels lost forever)
