Tore down the Xbone this evening. I'm not an expert by any means but I don't see where the issue is. Everything seems ok. Power brick is feeding steady power to the system, least the multimeter says so. Didn't find any breaks in the power supply as far as I could follow it. *SHRUGS* Oh well. I got it for free and the guy that gave it to me is not good with tech, made worse by being drunk most of the time. Bummer.
I been thinking about upgrading but there hasn't been a reason to. None of the "next gen" only games so far have really appealed to me. Starfield was the first one that I had thought would be worth it, but after Redfall I have many questions.
I guess the Xbone biting the dust is a pretty good reason.

Tinykin (#Xbone #GamePass) Play as Milo, scientist who discovers his world is not the origin of humanity and sets off on an adventure to find his "home".
TL;DR- This is a shortish cozyish indie game that's so influenced by Pikmin I expected to see a Nintendo Seal of Quality on it. It's a cute 3d platformer with cool hand drawn characters interacting with a 3d world. Check my Tumblr link for a long form review.

NORCO (#Xbone #GamePass) Text based point & click cyberpunk noir set in LA swamps. Kay has to figure out what her Mom was investigating when she died.
This is an odd story, but it's enticing. 8 hours to finish, I'm still pondering what the hell was going on. Pretty good music most of the game. Good writing, including the Cajun accents. Puzzles weren't super difficult, "combat" might be for those without great reflexes (you can set it to auto). #Gaming #ShareYourGames

I've beaten #Onimusha Warlords now and I think I cleared up the mystery why it seemed so familiar. I'm pretty sure I've seen a speedrun of this once or at least a good chunk of it. The cutscenes being unskippable would also explain why I kinda knew about the plot too.
I don't think I'll play this again. I had fun until close to the end, where tedious and hard boss fights come one after another, with a bunch of said unskippable cutscenes right before them.
The final boss took me four tries and by the second time I was already sick of the epic introductory cutscenes and minute long boring runup. 😩
There's a special place in hell for people forcing that design decision.
If I remember correctly, the Onimusha 2 remaster should release for the Switch on the 15th. Still a few days to go...
And I'm hoping that they'll do the third one too. I could play french cop Jean Reno in ancient Japan again. 😁 -
I started playing #Onimusha Warlords (the remastered version for the Switch) and... I've played this before. 😬
I have no idea where and when. I'm 100% sure that I never owned or rented it on the PS2 and I can't remember emulating it. Was there a PC version I can't remember?
Or... am I just misremembering and I saw a speedrun of this once? But it really feels like I've played it myself. 🤔
Anyway, I'm having fun, but I guess not for much longer. I'm pretty far into the game already and trying to find a way into the demon realm that's currently blocked by a magic barrier.

@[email protected] und ich haben heute mehrmals den #Banbaro bekämpft. Während dem Kampf kam #Rathalos dazu, hat sich mit einem höchst präzisem Feuerball angekündigt und dem Banbaro den Baumstamm aus dem Geweih geschossen. Der ganze Kampf wurde am dem Zeitpunkt super chaotisch 😅

Ich hab es ganz und gar nicht mit Dating-Sims. Nicht mein Genre.
Aber eine "Rejection-Sim" aus der weiblichen Perspektive, in der man Loser abservieren kann?
Klingt witzig und ist es auch. Aber nicht nur. Es ist stellenweise auch ziemlich dark.
Das Ding hat so ziemlich alle Content-Warnungen unter der Sonne, auch wenn es hauptsächlich um Sexismus, sexuelle Belästigung/Gewalt und Rassismus geht.
