For example, suppose y is the vector of likert responses (assumed coded as 1,2,3,4,5). Perhaps you could set the #ggridges quantile values at sapply(X = c(1,2,3,4,5),FUN = ecdf(y))?

I just spent a good hour or so at mastodon .social and mentioned to a couple of folks about how they can leverage search capabilities in building up their own network of interests and friends using #hashtags, and searching on keywords; adding that Mastodon itself isn't really all that good at it, compared to some other platforms (like #Quanta, but I mention it that way by name).
Oh it was a bit sickening, actually. A bunch of people leaving #introductions saying they've arrived as refugees on that boat.... What's it called?
Oh yeah, #hashtag twittermigration. I find it grossly ironic, actually. Nothing against those folks, many of them #dumbfucks, oblivious to the fact that they've not "migrated to", but instead "fled from" a place that has decided (under the new management) to be a more free and #censorship resistant space, to a place that has always been a #radically_free and #censorship_resistant place (much moreso than the place they've just fled, and because the new management decided to make it a free speech and censorship resistant place).

Here's the rub. Matt Damon's aside (he actually did leave America), most of those chattel have already been *systemically* subjugated, and still are. Many may indeed remain in the #Fediverse, but the majority, regardless of what they say now, will be back on #Twatter again real soon.
