This isn't new conduct: I was a data programmer/architect/"big data" guy forty years. Business people in general are bad at defining good metrics, #notall as needed.
But AI does give them a whole new toolkit to screw up with.

Same exact people went to this exact argument regarding men afterward.
It's worth noting that the original version of this argument came from Nazi Germany.

Conservatives badmouthing Trump? I've seen it a bit lately.
It's not *universally* them trying to prepare for the post-Trump era, #notall one-in-a-thousand blah blah blah, but it's almost that. The stink of Trump is on them the way Hitler is, and I doubt they can get it off, but some of them are preparing to try.

SCOTUS has now ruled for Trump sixteen straight times. How the liberals who used to think that judges were apolitical -- I've run into hundreds, over the decades -- could be so spectacularly wrong about what Republican judges are, I will always wonder. (#NotAll as needed -- there are occasional decent Republican judges. Not on SCOTUS, though.)

Yes, things are worse than they've been. You should be armed. You should practice. You should make sure you've got ammo on hand. (#notall as needed for households with children, mental health issues, etc.)

The world would be a better place if more people attempted reconciliation, or reason, de-escalation, before employing violence. (There are specific cases where immediate violence strikes me as the only reasonable step, however they are rare.)
But most violence in our society today is a failure at multiple levels. #notall -- a woman shooting her abusive husband is utterly within her rights.

Of course I'm angry.
I've been angry for a long time. Over things done and things not done, over lies and omissions, over laziness and greed. Over predators and the cowards who excuse them.
Anger, Steven Barnes told me when I was still in my twenties, is merely a response to fear. I hadn't heard that before, and it made perfect sense to me. #notall, sure, some monsters indulge in anger because they enjoy the adrenaline rush, but for the overwhelming majority of people, anger is fear, masked.

@hackbyte Wenn du genau hin siehst, ist das schon relativ queer: Cadet Master Lura Thok ist mit Jett Reno von der Discovery zusammen. Der Klingone Jay-Den erzählt von seiner Familie (2 Väter, 1 Mutter), die ich eindeutig polyamor lesen würde. Caleb selbst fängt was mit Tarima an - die Betazoidin ist und äh.. ja - lustige Sexgeschichten erzählt.
Und während in den ersten Folgen schon zarte Funken sprühten, ist der Flirt von Jay-Den mit einem menschlich gelesenen Schüler von der Kampf-Akademie in der letzten Folge sehr deutlich geworden und auch angesprochen worden. Sehr, sehr cute. Habe quasi vorm Bildschirm gefeiert.Edit: Hinzu kommt halt (was so schleimige Dunkelbitterröhrlinge wie Elmo & Co. u.a. auch kritisieren, siehe Videolink von @shinydelight): Es sind sehr diverse Körperformen zu sehen. Nicht alle sind schlank und rank. Ich habe heute die erste Folge zusammen mit meinem Kind angeschaut und es war so wholesome, Menschen mit fetten Körpern zu sehen. Es tat uns gut, das zu sehen. Represantation matters.

dünn zu sein - als wäre dünn gleichzusetzen mit gesund, das ist es nämlich absolut nicht - ist echt nicht mehr lustig.
Und dass Menschen sich von der Gesellschaft genötigt sehen, sich dieses Medikament (!) regelmäßig 'zu gönnen', weil nur weil schon bissl über Normgewicht als fett angeprangert wird...
Und diese Schauspielenden & die ganzen Celebreties sind da echt kein gutes Vorbild.
Es gibt keine Wunderdroge.
Es gibt immer einen Haken.
Oder gleich mehrere.

I've finished: The Fatness by Mark A. Rayner
This is a satire about fat shaming as policy. About coercion as a behavior modifying method. About the prison system. It takes aim both at the public and private sectors. But most of all it takes aim at the notion that fat people are less healthy and thin people shouldn't pay for their healthcare.
It is the story of one couple's struggle against a rigged system.
As a satire about obesity there are allot of landmines here. But the factoids about wait loss science help keep the reader grounded and make sure no one thinks the author endorses any of the methods used by the Calorie Reduction Centers.
