#StarTrek #StrangeNewWorlds macht das selbe wie #StarFleetAcademy damals. Haut ne Folge gratis auf #Youtube raus. Ich weiß jetzt nicht ob das ein verzweifelter Versuch von #Paramount ist wenigstens ein paar Views für die Serie zu bekommen oder ob getestet werden soll wie die Stimmung so ist und ob es noch genug Neugier für was neues gibt.
So oder so, die Qualität hat stark nachgelassen. Die aktuelle Folge ist schon die 2. in der Staffel mit einem Timer in die Fresse. 😩

In TOS: What are Little Girls Made Of? Roger Korby goes to Exo III and discovers technology of a long-gone civilization. The remaining synthezoid there, Ruk, refers to them as “The Old Ones”. Lanthanites? Catspaw also makes a reference to them.

Pelia, a Lanthanite, is an engineer and has a huge collection of ancient world artifacts just like Flint in TOS.

e09 is another satisfying episode of Starfleet Academy. Great to see Tatiana Maslany in another role worth of her considerable acting skills, after the woeful drek that was the She-Hulk TV series. I was introduced to Maslaney as the star of Orphan Black, where she played a whole clutch of clones over multiple seasons. Each absolutely convincing as a distinct person, with their own life and internal world. Truly impressive stuff.
