FYI; #Software and #Hardware #Code, have become exponentially bloated complex and nearly impossible to actually use, rewrite, secure, and implement, 90% of the successful #hacking instances over the past 20 years have been made possible in the level of complexity of the code being exploited, you know what is hard to exploit, code that contains all it's own resources and does not require multiple directories to call a single function, all that makes it nearly impossible to monitor and prevent hacking, further more it requires 5x the resources than are actually required to perform a single action, I love #Friendica, I love #Openwrt, I love #Homeassistant, but my god their file structures and code bases are so convoluted, that you change one simple thing, and you end up rewriting the entire code base, and having to patch hardware to freaking work with it, Hey to all you freaking #devs out there, get back to basics and watch how much easier your jobs become, and how much better the end user experience becomes, I love #computers and #technology, but it has gone way off the deep end on useless complexity, freaking kill it all and write it all in basic html, no seriously, it will be so baffling easy that it will end up being 100% safer and have far more useability;
