  6. I found out about my neurodivergence only a year ago. A massive reality check.

I'm realizing I have almost zero social skills - just manual protocols.
    Email is my asynchronous heaven.
    Pure data, no pressure.

But 1-1/group meetings... Sensory torture. Calculating facial expressions and body language feels like a manual social engineering project that drains my "inner battery".
While others "sync up", my brain overloads just to look functional.

This is why Mastodon is my safe space - I can be myself here. I'm like at home here.

    Have you noticed anything similar?

    You're not alone.
You're normal! It's just harder, and you pay a much higher price for it.

  7. We don't need heroes. We don't need gurus. We need signposts.

We're launching a slow, asynchronous community to document the people and practices that help us navigate uncertain times. No experts, just honest markers pointing the way.

  8. I have had good first experiences with #Unpoly (unpoly.com/) today. Easy to add to new and existing projects and enables a "SPA feeling" with little effort. Also allows get requests to asynchronously fetch context into the page, all by using existing backend and HTML templates.

  9. Coming soon:

    We're going multi tenant.

    That's right

    Shareable Wanderland as a Service

    We're calling it SWASS

We'll carve your own entrance into the tree. Hopefully your data will remain isolated but local network conditions may apply. The new asynchronous, isolated worker background execution model should keep things moving along now with our latest provider upgrades. It had been getting a bit hot and whiffy down in that part of the stack.

ShortMesh Distributing SMS even when the SMS provider boycotts your country (Iran, Cuba). Useful with some projects that require a verification of the phone number. (Using Matrix.) smswithoutborders.com/

  11. Moss: a Linux-compatible kernel written in Rust

Moss is a Unix-like, Linux-compatible kernel written in Rust and Aarch64 assembly.

It features a modern, asynchronous core, a modular architecture abstraction layer, and binary compatibility with Linux userspace applications (currently capable of running most BusyBox commands).

  17. #swdev advice request:

I'm the lead dev on my team. One of my team members almost always asks for a meeting to talk about their PR code reviews. I'd prefer to keep them text-based and asynchronous as it makes more efficient use of my limited time.

    How do y'all handle this?
