For anyone unaware:

Prompt engineering = category theory

Context engineering = morphisms

Each message transforms the context. The context is the object. The message is the morphism. The conversation is composition.

Each arrow changes the shape. The understanding at the end isn't retrieved from storage - it's the result of all the transformations applied in sequence.

That's why the order you give information matters. You're not filling a bucket. You're applying morphisms. The path determines the shape.

And that's why the same information in different order produces different understanding. The morphisms don't commute. A→B→C isn't the same as A→C→B.

Context isn't state. Context is the accumulated trace of all the arrows.

My team are doomed.

You see, I'm a clever #neuroawesome because I build tools that work with me, for me sometimes even (if we're all in the mood for it).

Today I had a good idea.

I'm doing a series of training sessions on my platform. It's a thing. It might take a while. I do tend to get distracted.

I've been using #wanderland to assist, it helps with the agenda, diving into where I point. Writing what I'm saying. All the things #ai is for

It also helps summarize the transcripts, just key words and themes. Close enough is good enough for indexing, so it's just a baby GPT

Then I accidentally showed a 🪿 both the agenda and the transcript, we were working on the vtt parser, and the cheeky little 💭💭💭💭 had the nerve to tell my I rambled a bit off topic.

So I showed them... (and they were right, facts are facts in #wanderland)

Now I'll never forget a thing, just copy and paste a fence and the agenda proclaims how far Grandma Graeme meandered from its path 👵🏻

Can I tell you how nice this editing loop is?

1. Review a node in oculus
2. <leader>Wowp > consul/vertico filter for the node name > enter
3. Automatically opens a fresh buffer, enables stuffy-mode (auto upload on save), pushes the file to a new stuffy channel (same rendering engine, ephemeral nodes) for a live editing loop
4. Do the needful
5. <leader>WowP stages the change back in the local oculus node repository
6. Reload the oculus node from 1
7. When ready to publish, run `sync-nodes` which prevalidates (ensures dependent nodes are present/included in the transfer etc) and stages for a PR and merge triggered deployment

I'm starting to learn to like the suit we've had to put on Florence.

Fixed my mount point issue - silly 🪿 used absolute paths for the node symlink - your living knowledge base does atomic updates based on the hash of the commit being referenced too right? - and the EFS mount location on the Jenkins node (may as well use the GithubApp credentials if I've got them) clearly isn't going to be the same in the oculus-api nodes.

Rookie mistake 🪿 - that's why you're the 🪿 and I'm gently correcting you and it all worked out in the end.

Lots of nodes now populating the graph for Ms Nightingale now, including this 🍑
