"Vulnerabilities in TCAS II collision warning system for civil aircraft identified by CYD Campus ((NDR Cyber_Defence Campus))
"The CYD Campus has subjected the Traffic Alert and Collision Avoidance System (TCAS) II used in civil aviation to a comprehensive technical security analysis. The manufacturers and aviation authorities in Europe and the United States have been informed. The published vulnerabilities were classified as moderate and severe, respectively, by the US Cyber Defense Agency CISA and the Federal Aviation Authority (FAA) of the United States.."
"In autumn 2023, the team succeeded in triggering false warnings on a pilot cockpit in their laboratory using a certified TCAS processor from Garmin with its own radio setup. These results were then demonstrated at the DEF CON hacker conference in Las Vegas and at the Usenix security conference in Philadelphia in summer 2024."

Been spending a lot more time on my #ebike lately (opposed to my regular bikes). Wife just got one so we’ve been out together.
Playing with the cockpit setup and have kinda settled on this.
#salsa Bend2 bars 17degree bend. I’ve these bars in 17 and 24 degrees. Like them a lot!
The grips and Barends are #ergon GP5 Biokork. These are new to me, never tried egro grips before, but reports are good.
Few test rides today, first proper ride out tomorrow. Will report back.

Rose Backroad FF Cockpit view.
Halde Hoheward, Herten.Today I visited the #Rose test event at the pithead stock and now recreational park Hoheward. A great place to test gravel and mountainbikes and that’s just what I did. I rode the Rose PDQ (mtb hardtail), the normal Rose Backroad and the newish Rose Backroad FF. Very interesting. I’ll prepare a short (trust me - I hope 😅) article with my impressions. Online soon.
