🤯 Wow, a terminal emulator for your terminal! 🚀 Because clearly, what we needed was more terminals inside our terminals, powered by the revolutionary Turbo Vision. 🦄 Next up: a browser that lets you browse browsers, because who doesn't love a good recursive loop? 🙃

It's a new release of Librecast! 🎉
We've added recursive directory syncing to librecast. It's still very experimental, we had fun testing it by syncing the linux kernel.
It's available on Sourcehut.
https://git.sr.ht/~librecast/librecast/refs/v0.8.0
For IPv6 Access it's available on Codeberg.
https://codeberg.org/librecast/librecast
More information on the changes for 0.8 can be found on our change log.
This release would not have been possible without @NGIZero as part of #NGIAssure

Dear Friends,
@heatmap_news is really promising but I can't agree to their #privacy policy. I get where they are coming from, but not ready to follow them there. #Tracking and #targeting #ads (and #retargeting) based on #behavioral #inferences are at the root of the destructiveness of the #recursive #web.

#gt5 is a diff capable du browser.
When gt5 is first run it catalogs each file recursively from the current directory, noting the sizes. It then outputs an HTML file listing their sizes along with their paths.
The next time gt5 is run it updates the filesizes, plainly displaying the difference since the last run in the output.
It is recommended that links is used for viewing the output.

After all those years, WHY didn't you tell me about recursive queries in #SPARQL that find all the descendants of a term in an ontology? https://gist.github.com/lindenb/2b0239f2237ce835fe2d2ddfc9ebeb02

NEW BIML Bibliography entry
https://arxiv.org/abs/2503.03150
Position: Model Collapse Does Not Mean What You Think
Rylan Schaeffer, Joshua Kazdan, Alvan Caleb Arulandu, Sanmi Koyejo
We think recursive pollution is a better term than model collapse. Weak terminology leads to misunderstanding of impact. See figure 4. This is a very good paper.

Useful #find use cases:
How to remove all empty directories?
How to recursively count all the files in a directory?
How to find files based on owner name, owner id, group name, or group id?
Or the files which are not owned by any user or group?

Started writing a simple email. Ended up trapped in a recursive loop trying to sound human, yet professional, yet not too professional, yet casual, but not weird-casual. Anyway, I live here now. Send snacks. 📩🤖 #AIinbox #HelpMeToneMyTone

Big commit on #Suetum to improve axioms (rules). Now you can write mutually recursive rules, and Habitus is also kind-of able to show them (there are still cases in which it can't expand an axiom, in case the very first rule of the axiom already fails)!
