В первой части мы разобрались, что Real-time на Laravel-сайте нужен там, где интерфейс должен получать изменения без перезагрузки страницы: новые уведомления, смену статуса заказа, сообщения в чате, обновления виджетов, события в административной панели. Для таких задач классическая модель HTTP-запроса уже недостаточна, а polling создаёт лишнюю нагрузку на backend. Один из практичных вариантов решения — использовать Centrifugo как отдельный WebSocket-сервер рядом с Laravel-приложением. В этой статье разберём архитектуру Laravel + Centrifugo: за что отвечает Laravel, какую роль выполняет Centrifugo, как frontend подключается к real-time каналу и как выглядит типовой сценарий публикации события, например при изменении статуса заказа.

I really like the #FAuSt (Functional Audio Stream) #programming language, developed at GRAME in France by Orlarey, et al. It is designed for realtime sound synthesis and control for live music performances. But its #functional core is equally at home in DSP, robotics, and similar #realtime #embedded processing and control systems.
The Faust compiler translates the high-level FP constructs down to C, C++, Rust, Java, JavaScript, WASM, and even LLVM byte code. It has an intuitive, built-in support for parallelism. It can target the whole gamut of platforms: desktop, web, mobile, and MCUs. There is even an official demo for the ESP32 audio DevKit boards. Oh and, it also comes with a built-in GUI library of audio mixer controls.
The generated C code is usually better optimised than handwritten code. This language has been around since 2002, so it is very stable. And because it emerged from an academic research environment, there are tonnes of well written papers and books for it. In short, Faust is a great language to write production-ready, custom DSP algorithms.
Do note that Faust's syntax is quite brisk. But it is nowhere near as brusque as the syntax of Backus's famed FP.
I heartily recommend Faust to the #EE who designs and implements realtime embedded systems, especially for #audio and #music applications.

Приложение real-time face swap на чистом Rust: ONNX Runtime, lock-free потоки и 60 кадров в секунду
Большинство инструментов для замены лиц это Python-скрипты, склеенные из PyTorch, OpenCV и надежды. Они работают, но тащат за собой гигабайты зависимостей, требуют правильно настроенного CUDA и разваливаются в тот момент, когда ты пытаешься запустить их в реальном времени. Мне стало интересно: можно ли собрать весь пайплайн на чистом Rust? Без Python. Без PyTorch. Без обёрток. Один бинарник, который скачал, распаковал и запустил. Оказалось, можно. 60 fps на веб-камере. Пайплайн На каждом кадре последовательно отрабатывают четыре нейросети. RetinaFace находит лица и извлекает пять ключевых точек. ArcFace вычисляет 512-мерный эмбеддинг исходного лица. InSwapper принимает регион целевого лица и эмбеддинг источника, на выходе отдаёт заменённое лицо. GFPGAN опционально улучшает результат для более высокого качества. Все четыре модели работают через ONNX Runtime. Никаких кастомных CUDA-ядер, никакого оверхеда фреймворков. Тензор на вход, тензор на выход. Архитектура потоков Три потока, ноль блокировок на горячем пути. Поток захвата получает кадры с веб-камеры через nokhwa и публикует их через ArcSwap. Поток пайплайна подхватывает новые кадры, прогоняет инференс и публикует обработанные кадры через второй ArcSwap. Поток UI читает актуальный буфер и рендерит через egui. Никаких мьютексов на данных кадра. Никаких каналов. Никакого async. Только атомарные счётчики поколений и lock-free замена указателей. Структуры разделяемого состояния занимают ровно по 64 байта каждая и выровнены по кэш-линиям, чтобы исключить false sharing между ядрами. Это проверяется compile-time ассертами.

Скорее всего читатели знают, но контекста ради. Flink имеет децентрализованный дизайн с распределенной архитектурой, где набор контейнеров ( Task Manager ) несут ответственность за свою локальную зону или не несут? Эта зона в случае разбиения через keyBy размазывается исходя из хэша заданного ключа, посредством чего, Flink гарантирует попадание всех событий с этим ключом на тот же контейнер и также гарантирует сохранение того порядка событий, в котором они доехали до оператора, и, как следствие этот контейнер является мастером-владельцем ключа - отсюда понятие локальной зоны становится оправданным, ведь все хэш пространство размазывается на контейнеры равномерно. Однако, если не использовать keyBy и просто попробовать вызвать что угодно, то будет round-robin распределение и тогда снимается понятие локальной зоны ответственности.
