I'll go over 𝗕𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗦𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘁, my Gaussian splatting toolkit for Blender, and dive into two 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 that explore how splats can be extended using GeoNodes and Blender.

I've been looking at Gaussian Splatting for a while and now I've finally tried it myself. One of my first splatts is of this "monument" near my grandparents that turned out pretty decent after all. With just 79 pictures and half an hour of computation I'm amazed at how easy this can be!

I have created Splattrack, that uses COLMAP and Brush to extract motion tracking and Gaussian splatting reconstruction, with GPU acceleration.
