  3. Hello fedi,

I am still interested in trying to make tables in geminispace that are accessible to blind users.

The trouble is that gemini's native markup format,
    gemtext, does not have tables.

    Gemtext
does have preformatted text blocks, so I tried making tables by manually lining up text.

    Header Also a header
    Thing A thing
    Another thing
but I was told that that sort of table is hard for people using screen readers to parse. So now I'm trying something else.

I made two copies of each table: one is preformatted text that I manually lined up, aimed at sighted-users. The other copy is a csv file. I link to the csv file right under the preformatted text.

If you have a gemini browser installed, you can see the results right here
    gemini://pandorastale.wiki/Main/Chapters.gmi

If you don't have a gemini browser installed, you can see it through a regular web browser here:
    https://pandorastale.wiki/Main/Chapters.gmi

Note that if you click on the csv link from Firefox or Chromium, they try to download the csv file instead of displaying it in browser, while Gnome Web/Epiphany (and so maybe Safari?) will display it in-browser.

So my question to users of screen readers is, does this work? Can you actually read the table?

How does it compare with the MediaWiki version of the same information?

  9. Does anyone know if it possible to reduce/remove the AGGRESSIVE flashing lights in the game "Crisol Theatre of Idols"??

I would want to buy it, as it seems to be exactly what I love in games (asthetically, combat looks cool, UI is beautiful, and I am here for the lore) - but I just checked gameplay of it and it has insane flashing in cutscenes. This is the only big obstacle I have for it. )*:

I've used a mobility scooter a few times in my area and it really does hit you how annoying it is to ride off a kerb only to find there's not a drop the other side and you're stuck in a road at a height many won't see. Also people just standing in the middle of a path not noticing you and chatting away (twice on a 20 minute journey tesr both happened today)

With 1Password SDKs, integrations can now support:
🧰 Full vault management (CRUD + list)
    🔐 User-authenticated SDK sessions
🚀 Batch actions for performance at scale

The result is a new class of integrations designed for enterprise operational workflows, where managing access matters as much as securing secrets.

  19. 👋 Hello Canadian 🇨🇦 Fediverse
    Needing 🦽 Advice Please 👋

I would very much appreciate recommendations for companies/sources for a manual wheelchair for a disabled senior. ♿
The person using it is Not capable of maneuvering an electric one -and they are Not allowed for use at the retirement home-and one arm is too weak to push himself using a manual wheelchair, so it's up to me, a senior to assist, therefore, it needs to be lightweight but sturdy enough for going over curbs and sidewalks, along country roads without a sidewalk, and to be safely anchored to a bus floor. (I do not want a 'transport' wheelchair --too flimsy)
    Thanks for your guidance.🙂

    Boosts welcomed
