Our newest exhibition, “A Perfect Model: Prints after Anthony van Dyck’s Portraits,” required some digging through the collection. We have more than 50 prints made after Van Dyck's portraits, not acquired all at once from a single gift, but over decades. It's been really neat to look through them and select the best of the best for this small show. A number of years ago I was accepted into a juried show for LGBTQIA artists. I chose to do a few editions of prints. I'm going to share some of those images in an effort to share my art here since I chose this instance to connect with artists!
This is a drypoint print I hand etched of a feather. This image was used as an album cover after being slightly digitally altered.

Looking across Loch Lomond from Conic Hill above Balmaha on the east side of the Loch. The islands (and Conic Hill) mark the Highland Boundary Fault which is the geological boundary between the Central Lowlands and Highlands of Scotland.
210 x 300 mm brass plate etching I made using sugar lift to get the outlines of the hills and islands and then aquatinted and Spit Bite etched.
