  1. Second World War Pett Level coastal battery, an emergency battery built as part of Eastern Command's coastal defences. The battery was constructed in 1940-41 and mounted two 6-inch breech-loading guns.

    The land is managed by the Pett Level Preservation Trust, and the battery wall now has a bat box attached.
