I want to draw attention to this connection between Al Mohler and Tony Perkins. This is important, because this is the kind of thing that many evangelicals and other conservative Christians like to deny.
For those not familiar with Toney Perkins, he is the president of Family Research Council, a certified anti-LGBT hate group who is also known for Islamophobia.
You can see an explanation on the Southern Poverty Law Center's site explaining why they designated the FRC as a hate group. It includes a long list of horrific quotes, many of which come from Perkins.

Among other things, Tony has personally spread the narrative that LGBTQIA+ people are sexual predators and specifically target children. Many conservative Christians refuse to grapple with some of the FRC's most vile statements.
Those who will acknowledge how terrible Perkins and the rest of the FRC are will then try to minimize them by claiming that they are "fringe" and "not well listened to."
And yet, here we have evidence of Perkins being Chummy with Al Mohler, the president of SBTS, a well-known seminary run by what is arguably the largest evangelical denomination in the United States.
That chumminess flies in the face of any claims that Perkins and his organization are "fringe" and "not very powerful." Anyone making that claim is either completely ignorant or outright lying. Either way, this is not something that can be allowed to stand unchallenged.
Evangelicals need to either admit that they are in lockstep with these terrible people or they need to clean their house and break ties with them. If you are not willing to cut ties with terrible people, you are yourself a terrible person.

The text is from my invocation to Freyja. In the lore, she is constantly being true to herself and embracing her own inner power. She is considerate of others, but does not bow to their demands either. Not even when they invoke "the greater good." She calls for us to similarly be our authentic selves in the face of pressure to conform to others' standards.

But sometimes, it gets abused. Some people use it to engage in unethical behavior. They use it to justify cheating on a partner they've promised monogamy to. Or they use it to manipulate someone into having a sexual experience they don't wish to have.
Let this image serve as a reminder that sacred sex is sex that honors the wants and needs of everyone involved, whatever those wants and needs may be.
