The #Christofascists don't care about our minor quibbles around labels or life experiences. To them, we are all a threat because we are all different and because we all trouble their very rigid and oppressive notions around #sexuality, #gender, and #sex. We need to simultaneously celebrate and respect our differences while coming together in #solidarity to recognize that our oppression is shared. The more I learn specifically about #bisexual activism, the more I learn that biphobia, transphobia, and queerphobia are all linked. The only way we get through this is together.

2.) #EnthusiasticConsent, #EmbodiedKnowledge, #BodilyAutonomy, #ReproductiveRights and the freedom to say yes or no to what my body wants and knows, to even sit with my body and know what my body wants and knows, all matter. I must strive to understand my body, to know what I want and need through my body, to listen to my body. My body is sacred, and it will protect me and see me through this situation, these experiences, whatever may come. Rest matters. Movement matters. My body is mine and not a tool for the reproduction of the #patriarchy or propoganda for #queerphobia or a machine to be used by #capitalism

Spoiler: It’s not the refugees or immigrants. White fascists are the main responsibles for violence against queer people.
Germany: Parlamentarians of the conservative (currently shifting further to the right by the day) CDU showed a sudden interest for the well-being of queer people, asking the German government a series of questions about hate crimes and violence.
The clear intention was to connect queerphobic violence to refugees from “societies with homophobic attitudes”, such as Syria, Iraq or Afghanistan. 😠
The statistics, however, state that German fascists are the main responsibles for the recent uptick in violence against queer people.
This shows again that the real problem is the rise of rightwing narratives, which are fueled by such actions of conservative players (like the CDU) that aim to promote racist narratives.thx to @Volksverpetzer !

After opining in this piece that I want someone to tell me that my feelings for these past crushes were real and that they mattered, a couple paragraphs later, I wrote:
"If #FallOutBoy gets to write a song--well, their entire oeuvre--about wanting girls who don't want them, I should fucking get to write about two girls I had crushes on and have that seen as significant and important by other people and worth caring about!"
So I'll end this thread on that note. Straight guys write about #UnrequitedLove and it's art. #Queer people write about it and it's dismissed or seen as us somehow dragging down the #LGBTQ rights movement, rather than a reflection of society's continued #queerphobia. And if you're #bisexual, it's taken as an excuse for why you're "not really queer."
