Fedi #keeb and #keycap enjoyers, I'm on the hunt for some good high quality Arabic keycaps. I'm actually leaning towards two sites where you give them your specs and they make the keycaps. But, I'm unsure if these places are actually good. One explicitly advertises double shot keycaps, which for custom ones... Is so neat! But, is the quality good? I don't see people talk about their shipping times or fab times. I don't need these fully custom ones. But, it would be neat to have Colemak DH cherry profile keycaps with Arabic script as a sub. The main thing I'm looking out for is just high quality dual Arabic/English keycaps. Colemak DH and cherry profile would just be chef's kiss. (MT3 would actually be...)

If there is anyone out there that has tips or pointers about getting back into #crocheting I'm all ears/eyes.

There is a new to me technique of letting the #crochet hook in your dominant hand while wrapping the medium around.

She has some great tutorials on social media. And I'm very fond of her Masse Method. It's extremely comfortable to me. @amin talking about his knitting really inspired me to pick this back up. I've had the material sit on my desk for about 3 weeks now. I've ordered hooks for said project and they've arrived. But I lack the confidence to start again. I 1000% have no muscle memory for any stitch. So I'm constantly second guessing myself or cutting the older yarn I was practicing with and toss it in the bin.

With my work injuries, I have to try different methods like this. Any traditional way, let alone what I was taught 20+ years ago, causes incredible pain and discomfort regardless of hook.

I would love to share some of the patterns I have or the one I'm wanting to work on first. But out of respect to the owner's wishes, I can't. I might reach out and see if the reference image is ok. I think his child was the model (it's a hat!!!! Kufi specifically), so I'm being abundantly cautious. If there are images that I have, where the kufis are folded up, or on a table I think I can share those.

I think if I can get some momentum on this project, I have a great excuse to write another blog post for my website.

Is there anyone out there that has a docking station recommendation? I have a 4k 144hz monitor and 1080p @165hz. I also have a DAC for my PC and it would be neat if I could hook that up to it as well to just have and all in one. I'd like to have the ability to use my two monitor setup with either of my laptops. I think I'd be able to use both.

I don't know if it would be possible but it would be nice.

“The totally cool way to run and network your computer” sounds just as stupid as it did when I first got these boxes. I paid $2 for them at a HAM radio convention 11 years ago and they’ve just been sitting sealed ever since. Got them out of storage today and I think I’ll open them. (Thread time.)

Closest i probably have to nocash’s glorious PSOne is probably my US sega genesis, motherboard revision VA6. Alt text on pics explains what all is going on here better.
Although I have a pretty crazy looking PSX as well, maybe I’ll find a picture of that. Even though my PSX looks crazier, the mods are a little less involved on it.

I have questions about #VenomLinux

1. What is the purpose of the world file? Is this the preferred method to adding packages to your system?

2. Is there a way to customize my compilation? With portage I can choose to have a specific architecture. Not just ` -march=native -O2`

3. Are there other .isos out there besides the sway spin? The website describes other spins but have only found the minimal and sway spin.
