I'm in the mood for some #linux distro exploration today! If y'all got some more suggestions other than the ones below, leave them down below!

I will play around distros that are #systemd less, such as #voidlinux, #devuan, #chimeralinux, #artix, and #venomlinux.

I will also install #archlinux, btw, but try changing the init, see how it all goes.

And I will also try to install #xfce on #alpine and try to make it usable :)

I have been using Venom Linux as my main system for a little over one year now. This distro is it for me. Running rock solid with under 1000 packages installed (pretty good for a year old system). I have questions about #VenomLinux

1. What is the purpose of the world file? Is this the preferred method to adding packages to your system?

2. Is there a way to customize my compilation? With portage I can choose to have a specific architecture. Not just ` -march=native -O2`

3. Are there other .isos out there besides the sway spin? The website describes other spins but have only found the minimal and sway spin.

What an adventure to get this up and running. Solid so far.

My new favourite non systemd Nix…#venomlinux !
It is a source based independent Linux very similar in ideas and philosophy to #cruxlinux , but very simple to install. The install script creates a system ready to go. The openbox configs didn’t work well out of the box, but I didn’t mind because I switched to #dwm right away.
