My council is going to put in a zebra crossing near my street. I wrote to the m last year about making my whole street a #woonerf which got shut down pretty firmly by the mayor, but now they're going to build a zebra crossing. It's a step in the right direction!

was walking to the village shop, saw a young #tortie #kitten correctly use the #ZebraCrossing (and drivers stopped to let it cross in accordance with the Highway Code - which states you must give way to pedestrians, but doesn't specify what species they have to be) 😺 #cats
