Since high school, I stopped devouring books. I used to be a voracious reader as a kid. I was a humanities major and later a lawyer, reading so much for work that I didn't want to do it for fun. I'm proud to say I'm now a reader again! Loving this page turner thingamabob!

Hey everybody guess what, we have a happy ending. As I was inside eating dinner I heard a male voice outside, I stopped, waited but no one knocked or rang the bell. I suspected, I hoped, I wondered. First an Aira agent and I checked clips from the Ring Doorbell but nothing. Then we went outside and there against one of my stately pillars was the lovely errant white cane escapee. It's back home. Hey #ArchLinux user. If you are using #yay and you have -git #AUR packages, when you are doing `yay -Syu` you aren't updating the -git packages, you need to add --devel flag `yay -Syu --devel` or better save --devel with `yay --save --devel`

You know how you dread doing an upgrade, I mean something could break, the estimated time could be 2X what you think, you might have to roll back, or do some big troubleshooting adventure to get everything reconnected…
And then you run the upgrader, it finishes in 47 SECONDS, the service restarts, spins for 60 seconds, spits happy log messages, reconnects to the console, and you are DONE in about 5 minutes?
And then you spend 20 minutes testing and validating that it couldn't have been that easy…

So, with the turning weather we haven’t seen our Friend Hedgehog on the camera hidden in our front garden for a week or two, but last night we collected newt-footage (my guess would be a smooth newt, Lissotriton vulgaris), and a toad climbing up the front of the camera (I’m guessing Bufo bufo, most likely).
