    been breaking my head for a while how to get the Home Assistant Connect ZBT-2 to South Africa, short of finding an excuse to go on holiday to Europe and get it whilst there.

    Any SA Home Assistant enthusiasts, here's finally your chance to integrate Matter devices, as the folks at Nabu Casa seem to think there are no home automation needs in deepest darkest Mzansi.

    Took me three days to get Matter over Thread working on my #HomeAssistant. Bought a #ZBT-2 but sent it back, because it didn't work and bought a #Sonoff MG24. But it was the fault of the VM where HA was running in on my #TrueNAS server. Virtual NIC's don't play well with ipv6. So decided to move HA from my IOT network to my General network. I also missed the step syncing my credentials (whose idea was it to put that in the "Troubleshoot" menu?? Ok, probably was a logical place).

    Ich habe gestern den Nabu Casa ZBT-2 als Thread Border Router in Home Assistant integriert und die ersten beiden Matter (over Thread) Geräte integriert (1 Ikea Timmerflotte + 1 Aqara W100 Climate Sensor).

    Die Antenne ist echt gut. Deutlich besser als die vom Zigbee Netzwerk. Ich komme im Moment ohne bridges aus, aber trotzdem quer durchs Haus. Bisher keine Abbrüche, alles snappy.

    Ich habe gestern den Nabu Casa ZBT-2 als Thread Border Router in Home Assistant integriert und die ersten beiden Matter (over Thread) Geräte integriert (1 Ikea Timmerflotte + 1 Aqara W100 Climate Sensor).

    Die Antenne ist echt gut. Deutlich besser als die vom Zigbee Netzwerk. Ich komme im Moment ohne bridges aus, aber trotzdem quer durchs Haus. Bisher keine Abbrüche, alles snappy.

    I have a soil sensor attached (I want to monitor composting temperature). It seems to give one reading and then disconnect. To get another reading I have to reload the zbt-1 (but I can't see how to automate that eg every 10mins).

    How do I get the soil sensor to keep giving readings every 10minutes?
