been breaking my head for a while how to get the Home Assistant Connect ZBT-2 to South Africa, short of finding an excuse to go on holiday to Europe and get it whilst there.

Took me three days to get Matter over Thread working on my #HomeAssistant. Bought a #ZBT-2 but sent it back, because it didn't work and bought a #Sonoff MG24. But it was the fault of the VM where HA was running in on my #TrueNAS server. Virtual NIC's don't play well with ipv6. So decided to move HA from my IOT network to my General network. I also missed the step syncing my credentials (whose idea was it to put that in the "Troubleshoot" menu?? Ok, probably was a logical place).

Took me three days to get Matter over Thread working on my #HomeAssistant. Bought a #ZBT-2 but sent it back, because it didn't work and bought a #Sonoff MG24. I have a soil sensor attached (I want to monitor composting temperature). It seems to give one reading and then disconnect. To get another reading I have to reload the zbt-1 (but I can't see how to automate that eg every 10mins).

How do I get the soil sensor to keep giving readings every 10minutes?
