Yeay! Dank dem #support von #NabuCasa habe ich es dann doch geschafft, den #zwave-dongle mit neuer Firmware zu versehen und in Betrieb zu nehmen. Die Ablösung von Devolo Homecontrol rückt näher.

Ich habe gestern den Nabu Casa ZBT-2 als Thread Border Router in Home Assistant integriert und die ersten beiden Matter (over Thread) Geräte integriert (1 Ikea Timmerflotte + 1 Aqara W100 Climate Sensor).
Die Antenne ist echt gut. Deutlich besser als die vom Zigbee Netzwerk. Ich komme im Moment ohne bridges aus, aber trotzdem quer durchs Haus. Bisher keine Abbrüche, alles snappy.

Noob clueless question
Why am I getting emails from #letsencrypt that I need to renew a certificate? At first I thought it was a scam.
There's a complicated looking link that includes #NabuCasa that doesn't work when I click it (on my phone at least, using the duck duck go browser).
I do have a #HomeAssistantGreen but I'm not using the cloud service (I did use the trial month)

Good article on the various alternatives for accessing #HomeAssistant remotely. Discusses advantages/disadvantages/tradeoffs.
TLDR: HomeAssistant Cloud (#NabuCasa) subscription is the easiest and fastest way. It also contributes to the further development of Home Assistant. Win-Win!

Mmm, the @homeassistant Nabu Casa status page is telling me all is fine... except Google has lost all devices and in my effort to fix it Google Home is now telling me it can't connect to "Home Assistant by Nabu Casa" to link.
No news of this anywhere so not sure what's happening.
