Another track made with RADTracker; apart from the lack of undo, it's kind of neat. #OPL3 is definitely growing on me, it is less powerful than #OPN but you can get some really neat sounds out of it! Hard to believe this is the chip that was behind all those quirky and campy DOS / #adlib / sound blaster 16 tunes from back in the day.

- a remake of one of my first chiptunes, which was done in literally half an hour. This one took a bit longer

NukedOPL has long been the default OPL mode in Staging. It’s basically a bit-perfect emulation of the Yamaha YMF262 OPL3 chip, and it runs fast enough even on low-end hardware such as the Raspberry Pi 4. All other less accurate OPL emulation modes have been removed.

This is awesome. #OPL3 back in the day was WAY ahead of its time with the fantastic #Yamaha #YMF262 chip bringing inexpensive FM synthesis to the masses, its type L3 FM modes offering more operators per voice, more polyphony and loads of other goodies.
