I'm not surprised that Oneohtrix Point Never got that high. Started listening to Daniel's music after reading Ocean of Sound by David Toop and reading a YouTube comment under a mentioned album in the book recommending Replica. I had to check it out.
His other alias' song — Strawberry Skies by Games — is my most listened song this year.

Listening to Oneohtrix Point Never's Replica album right now.
Not necessarily an ambient album if we go by Eno's definition, but I'm amazed how cleverly it uses 80's TV ad samples and how sufficient repetition of already strange snippets create an atmosphere that is at times filled with anticipation and tension (Andro), other times is eerily dystopian (Child Soldier).
Outstanding sample work really adds to an ambient album (perfect for listening during long bus rides at night).

Another track made with RADTracker; apart from the lack of undo, it's kind of neat. #OPL3 is definitely growing on me, it is less powerful than #OPN but you can get some really neat sounds out of it! Hard to believe this is the chip that was behind all those quirky and campy DOS / #adlib / sound blaster 16 tunes from back in the day.
