looking for tips on how to give #opl3 #opl2 #adlib #ymf262 kick drums more utility. I can also dedicate a channel to kick rather than the kit so it may be played chromatically, primarily, how could I get a downward sweep in pitch w/ this basic fm synthesis?

the sonoclast MAFD can be mounted on the outside of the #moog #dfam #subharmonicon rail rack thingies with some slightly longer 6-32 1" machine screws. 3/4" might work, too. 📷

also curious if any #behringer Edge testers know if the sequences may be played in an arbitrary order via #midi . the #moog #dfam can do this, but only with an add-on device. It also only does midi with an addon device 🙃https://sonoclast.com/products/mafd_2hp/

so the #korg #nts1 and #novation #bassstation2 are monophonic, but can do percussiony things. since you can't polyphonically overlap a kick and a snare or a tom and a hat, i'm thinking a kit could be something like kick, snare, hat, tom, kicksnare, kickhat, snaretom, etc.. maybe filling up an octave. open/closed hat length can be velocity based. also trying to think how i can get a #moog #DFAM sound out of it
