so the #korg #nts1 and #novation #bassstation2 are monophonic, but can do percussiony things. since you can't polyphonically overlap a kick and a snare or a tom and a hat, i'm thinking a kit could be something like kick, snare, hat, tom, kicksnare, kickhat, snaretom, etc.. maybe filling up an octave. open/closed hat length can be velocity based. also trying to think how i can get a #moog #DFAM sound out of it
