Many trying to sway within .XM spec with no fx or filters or plugins. only samples. -
@protman no you need 5 quarter notes. that's 5 beats per bar. no matter what your LPB is (I keep it at 8), your pattern length must be a multiple of [LPB times 5]. in case of LPB=8 thats 40, 80,120 etc. It helps if you have "highlight every LPB lines" in song options (it's default), and you can set also metronome to "beats per bar" to 5.

it's a tracker pattern font pack for #renoise that includes instructions on how to install/swap them. One set of fonts I made myself from scratch that match the original #impulsetracker font. They perform like pixel-perfect bitmap fonts even though they are TrueType (TTF). The purpose was to replace the blurry, dull, anti-aliased DejaVuMono font that arrived with the "retina" updates 🤮 -

Now that #WeeklyBeats2024 is done, I can't stop making music, which is kinda surprising, but I'll take it. The only issue is the missing pressure to finish tracks. I might need to set me some arbitrary goals.

The residence in this exurban area of Belgium is blasting jock jams next to this completely booked hotel into late Sunday night. It's awfully annoying and no one can sleep. I have some guilt about all the conventionally horrifying ways I'm imagining encouraging them to stop. I've similarly disturbed others many times, much later and louder with far less palatable sound. I don't think their choice of noise warrants letting them continue. Been pondering this for a few hours. Now they stopped.
