Good morning tooters. Slept in today, but I knew I was tired. Didn’t wake until 7am & I need to get moving as it’s my Vinnies day. Temp is still around zero & we’re heading to 14c.
Great morning at the gym yesterday. I can now push 55kg in leg extensions & considering I started at 30kg 6mths ago, not bad. I’m now using a 6kg weight when I do back extensions & I’m definitely happy with that. Along with all the other exercises I do on the circuit I’m really pleased with the place I find myself now & when the membership finishes in 2wks I know I’ll be able to self manage very well. #Exercise #Recovery #Gym

Good morning tooting friends. It’s a mild 5-6c outside & heading to 16c with rain forecast this afternoon. Hope it stays away from here long enough to get my washing dry otherwise my wee unit will end up looking like a Chinese laundry.
Had a great 7hr hour sleep last night, making up for the last few nights 😁 there were 2 bathroom wakes, but hey - I’m an old lady & that’s how it goes sometimes. Still I went straight back to sleep both times, even #BonnyTheDogNextDoor couldn’t bother me.
Not going anywhere today. I have a loaf of bread to cook, housework to do & a piece of silverside to put in the slower cooker that I’ll need to get sorted soon.

Good morning tooters. I’ve been awake since 4.30am, up & about since 5.30am - thanks #BonnyTheDogNextDoor - I decided she needs her own hashtag as she is quite the presence 🫤.
It’s very mild this morning, already about 10c & heading to 15c, overcast with rain around but not in my area atm.
It’s my Vinnies day today & I’ve been going through my jackets & coats. I have three to take in I including my Drizabone that I never wear so no point in hanging on to it.

Good morning tooters. These foggy mornings seem to make it darker for longer, I don’t mind that as I stay asleep longer too 😁. I can’t see the tree at the end of my street again, it’s just a very faint darkening in that area - or maybe I’m imagining it as I know it’s there 🤷🏼‍♀️. It’s a chilly 3c, feels like 1c & heading to just 13c. The sun doesn’t look like it will break through today unfortunately.
It’s #Thursday which makes it my Vinnies day & I really need to get in the shower & start my day. I’m super snug & warm & not keen to move but I’m going to - check you all later 😊.

Good morning tooters. A wet day today & I have to have a blood test this morning, a fasting one - damnit, because I’m hungry & I want a cuppa 🙃. Planning to be at the pathology place as soon as it opens at 8am & hopefully back home by 8.30am for my brekky & coffee.
I’m not sure what I’ll get up to afterwards. I had thought to trim back my bottle brush tree but that won’t be fun if I’m constantly getting dripped on. Oh well, I’m sure I’ll find something to do.

Good morning tooters - back to freezing our little tooshies for a week. Barely above zero outside & a very good frost here. Going to be a cool but fairly sunny day. Hopefully I can get my washing from yesterday fully dry in the sunshine 🤞🏼.
Typical Sunday for me, an exercise class & then my regular Sunday visit to my sister. Hoping to catch up with some friends this afternoon, but that’s not a given.

Good morning tooting friends. Strange sky this morning, pale pink/mauve, quite pretty. Mild out heading to 13c again & rain this evening. Thanks to everyone for your msgs, I’m fine. I wore my knee support sleeve & an ankle elastic all night last. The knee feels pretty good, sore to touch but no bruising so far, nor swelling & it’s moving easily. The ankle isn’t sprained, definitely strained & does have a small amount of bruising & a bit swollen, but causing only minor issues. Which is good as I’m heading into Vinnies shortly for a couple of hours. I’ll keep the supports on for the day & evaluate again tomorrow. #Klutz #WinterVibe

Good morning tooters, it’s a grey dreary old day & quite foggy. I don’t think there’ll be much sun today. Mild night & a wet 13c forecast.
I’m a doofus, I’ve had a sore knee for a few days now & I’ve been dealing with it, massage, painkillers & completely forgetting I have a knee support sleeve 🫤 which should have been put on straight away. I finally did that this morning & already can feel the difference.
Off to the gym this morning & a visit to a good friend who has been unwell this afternoon, coffee & a catch up chat.

Good morning tooters - wet & 15c today & I’m not going to the gym. My knees gave me grief last night & I know it was from standing for a couple of hours chopping up those cumquats, not moving around. My fault, I knew they were getting stiff. So I’m going to take it easier today, although I’d love a walk 😃 even if it is wet - I’ll see how things go. I need to call the optometrist this morning as I have eyelashes in the way again - my fairly regular annoyance.

Good morning tooters. Been up since 5.30am thanks to Bonny the neighbours dog 😏. It’s about -1c outside, but I’m warm. Already fed, watered & deciding what my day will include. Bread making at some stage, my bread dough has been tucked up in a blanket on the couch overnight, but it still needs more rising time. As much as I’d love some fresh bread I’m not in any hurry, it can sit there most of the day if necessary. My kefir is still sluggish too, a little thicker, not enough to decant though. Good morning tooting friends, it’s around zero again today, it will end up a sunny mild 15c. First day back at the gym this morning & I have a session with my recovery PT. I only have another month of free access & I must make the most of the last weeks if I can.
I fed my sourdough starter yesterday, but it’s a little slow growing as it’s so cold, I’ll give it another feed to make it happier. My kefir is also very slow to ferment as well, but it will. Might take another 24hrs to work. #WinterVibe #Gym #Exercise #Recovery #Kefir #Sourdough

How lovely are my Nagami cumquats. Fat little orange gems of deliciousness but they do have lots of seeds. I still eat them whole though. The photo really doesn’t do them justice. They are really fat this year, quite tasty & juicy. I’ll be picking them this weekend & stewing them up removing the seeds. Delicious on yoghurt or ice cream. #Fruit #Cumquats #WinterVibe #Garden

Good morning tooters. Last day of my house sit & happy to head home tomorrow morning. Frosty start to today & still only about 2c but the sun is up & shining, I’m fed & watered & soon will shower to start my day. No walk or exercise class today, I’ll be filling the car & getting some milk & bread for the homeowner to come back to, I already have some eggs for her. I’ll put aside what I need for the morning & pack the rest into the car this afternoon. Then make sure all is clean & tidy. #HouseSit #PetSit #WinterVibe

Good morning tooters, feeling a little ordinary this morning after a night of weird dreams. I never got to take my walk yesterday after doing the house jobs so definitely need to get out & blow the cobwebs away.
I’ve cut the bottoms from two plastic milk bottles & they have been turned into pots for cuttings from some of the plants here to take home with me when I leave & yes, the homeowner has given me permission to do this.
Very cold this morning with the birdbath frozen solid again. I stood outside in the dark at 6am, the moon was full & the sky full of stars - too cold to stay out there for very long & the frost & ice hadn’t settled, I watched that happen from inside in the warmth. #WinterVibe #HouseSit #PetSit #SundayWalk

Good morning tooters. So tired last night & slept in a good hour past my usual waking time & it was the cats that woke me. Feeling a little groggy.
I think I’ll have a quiet one today, I need a few things at the supermarket, but that’ll be me for the day, unless I decide on a short walk.
I’ve realised I’ve walked more in this last week than I have since well before Christmas & gone over those 10,000 steps five days out of the last seven. It’s no wonder I’m feeling it.

Good morning tooters. It’s just a little fresh up here at my house sit, very frosty 🥶 start to the day. The cats are fed & watered, same with myself & I’m ready to head off for a walk. I can’t go far today as the heating people are apparently coming to service the ducted heating. That’s fine, a slack day is always good & I’m feeling my back a bit today for some reason. Good evening tooting friends. I’m off to Melbourne for the day on Thursday, because I can 😁. Went into Shepparton to get my ticket, but I’ll be getting on the train in Murchison East, quicker to get to that station from here than to go into Shepp. I was also told it’s risky leaving the car at the Shepp station 😏.
Also decided to have a quick visit to the botanical gardens because I loved it last time I was here. Some of it is on raised reclaimed land, which is where I took a photo from. I’ll go back in a day or two to have a proper walk around because there are some lovely walks in the area. #Shepparton #BotanicalGardens #WinterVibe
