In half an hour I had offloaded almost all of it at #Vinnies and the local #recycling centre, relishing the space released at home and the knowledge that most of it will be used again. No fee. No mining. No #landfill 😊 -

Good morning tooters. I’ve been awake since 4.30am, up & about since 5.30am - thanks #BonnyTheDogNextDoor - I decided she needs her own hashtag as she is quite the presence 🫤.
It’s very mild this morning, already about 10c & heading to 15c, overcast with rain around but not in my area atm.
It’s my Vinnies day today & I’ve been going through my jackets & coats. I have three to take in I including my Drizabone that I never wear so no point in hanging on to it.

Good morning tooters. These foggy mornings seem to make it darker for longer, I don’t mind that as I stay asleep longer too 😁. I can’t see the tree at the end of my street again, it’s just a very faint darkening in that area - or maybe I’m imagining it as I know it’s there 🤷🏼♀️. It’s a chilly 3c, feels like 1c & heading to just 13c. The sun doesn’t look like it will break through today unfortunately.
It’s #Thursday which makes it my Vinnies day & I really need to get in the shower & start my day. I’m super snug & warm & not keen to move but I’m going to - check you all later 😊.

Good morning my tooting pocket friends. Isn’t 6am quite dark now, the seasons are changing.
It’s Vinnies day today & I have to drop my car in to get new brakes on my way in. So I’ll be walking the last 1-2km. Then back again to pick the car up at lunchtime. This will be the most walking I’ve done in a long time, so hope my knee holds up 🤞🏼. I have faith in my capability though. It’s a lovely cool morning heading to 31c this afternoon although the times I’ll be walking will be relatively pleasant.

G’day tooting friends. I feel like I’ve hardly been online today - maybe because I haven’t 😁. Vinnies day today but didn’t last more than a couple of hours before I started to feel my back, still got a few things done that needed doing.
I had a phone call from a friend today. She asked if I wanted to help her clean a house for a friend of hers who is selling it, cash in hand. She’s now not very happy with me for saying I didn’t want to! Part of my reasoning is cleaning a whole house for sale is damned hard work & I considered my back & my leg & the fact I really don’t care about money even though yes - it would be nice. It takes me twice as long to clean my own place nowadays. She doesn’t seem to understand & thinks I should want to do it anyway 🤷🏼♀️.

Good morning tooting friends, it’s raining - ☔️ 🌧️ yaaay, still a bit too warm & will be an awful humid day, but the rain is definitely welcome.
Going back to my volunteer job at Vinnies today & while I know it’ll only be for a couple of hours & I’ll be in the moon boot, I’m really pleased to be able to go again. My leg still gets aches & pains, especially in the knee but day by day it’s improving & I can sit cross legged again for a short time. Onwards & upwards 😃. #Vinnies #Volunteer #Healing
