My favorite #weather app is #Ventusky, both for local weather and to see global patterns
And today I discovered this interesting map layer which shows what altitude is at freezing temperature
Note the pattern in Europe of the zero line, where the maritime effect, including of the Gulf Stream, is very clear

Neben #RainToday gehört auch #Ventusky zu unserer #iPhone- #App-Grundausstattung, um Wetterphänomene tracken zu können. Vorwiegend wird gerne geprüft, ob und wann der nächste Regenschauer kommt - doch Ventusky bietet noch viel mehr. Und mit dem neusten #Update auf Version 46 gibt es fortan auch Warnungen vor #Hagel.

@jeridansky @ai6yr @helloweather I really like the forecast display on @helloweather but why would I pay for everything else when I can get it free from the national weather office, or even #Ventusky or instantweatherinc.com? Both of those do have premium levels, but give good accurate details for most if not all what hello wants 'Fan Club' dues to impart.
Is there something I'm missing?
