Ok, so here goes… I like to keep to myself but am forced to socialise at work, whilst travelling to and from work.
I have only just come back to #knitting and #crochet and #spinning.
I love to keep my eye on #politics hence #auspol and I love lazy days rugged up in bed with #wool and #homecrafted #crochethooks and a good book or my beloved #ukuleles.
Above all, love spending time with @Alpha1Nine.

FTR, I own a rather extense collection of #ukuleles.
A couple of years ago I streamed a live recital from home.
Given that I didn't need to transport anything, I went wild choosing pieces that required different tunings.
IIRC, that resulted in nine instruments being used. Including a borrowed one, as I didn't had so many tenors as needed.
Did I learn anything from this? NO.

Came up on FB, 10 years ago today was pretty much my only solo #cimbalom concert in #Vancouver as part of a variety show of mostly #accordions and #ukuleles
This was an immense and busted-up cimbalom of unknown origin I had bought on craigslist. normally they have 1) a tiny plaque with the maker's name and 2) a carved wooden frame around the instrument but both were missing.
I should really work on performing in public again sometime! I've sung in a choir but never this. #FolkMusic

@Charlobo @tjapple Thanks, I forgot to mention "pinning"! Probably should emphasize that you can use hashtags in any post about anything, which helps spread linkage around. I was surprised after a few days to have more people following me than I had followed. I suspect it is the #ukuleles and #banjos more than the #Newspapers, #OldTimeRadio and #Appalachian #swVirginia :-)

A DAY IN MY LIFE:
So hubby is going to the laundromat today...I just sorted #laundry, we'll (he does the actual laundry, I sort and then put away as I'm able) do it all within the next few days. Major effort there. We used to do laundry together but many days I can't make it up and down the front steps, even with #servicedog Maisie's help. (Spine is disintegrating, plus #osteoarthritis from neck/skull to toes.) Anyway, it rained all night and supposed to rain on and off for a few days but the sun is out right now. Yard is packed with dozens of #turkeys at the moment and they crack me up so they'll keep me entertained.. Also been playing one of my #ukuleles today, mostly southern gospel stuff because that's what I was in the mood for. Will get my Wednesday Wags (dog-related #memes) up on the blog after this too. Then make supper later (stuffed squash, roasted baby bella 'shrooms with onion and garlic, and cabbage/onion for Pete...leftovers for me. (He's #pescatarian, I'm low-carb & IF.) And that -- plus the usual #parrot care/cuddle/play/flight times with Maxwell and Elliot - will be my day! I hope your day is wonderful too, friends!
