My wife: Well, put them in a room with a bunch of nerds. Then you'll see there's nothing to fear from scaffolders.

She's not wrong. A Christmas do years ago saw me and several other devs and support people brawling with a scaffolding firm in a hotel. Police were called, couldn't believe we could be at fault - we so were - and threw the scaffolders out.

I'm not proud of it now, but I was then.

And a celebrity with the specialist subject of #Strictly on #TheWheel tonight to follow immediately on from the show. So that's nice.
