  2. "Uncle John's Band" is a song by the #GratefulDead that first appeared in their concert setlists in late 1969. The band recorded it for their 1970 album #WorkingmansDead. Written by guitarist #JerryGarcia and lyricist #RobertHunter, "Uncle John's Band" presents the Dead in an acoustic and musically concise mode, with #closeHarmony singing. The song is one of the band's best known, and is included on the #RockAndRollHallOfFames500SongsThatShapedRockAndRoll.

  4. This isn't new at all, in fact I think it's 10 years old now. But I'm listening to this today and it's fantastic. Hits that sweet spot of songs you know and love, but done in new and surprising ways. It's wonderful to hear bands you don't associate with the #GratefulDead rocking out their songs.
