I know people who feel/hear vibrations I do not.

I was reminded of a story by sf writer A E van Vogt, published in 1950, called "The Sound".

We live near a major freight line, and get vibration from passing trains several times a day. I hear those.

Once I sat at Plateau Point, listening to the evening hum of the Grand Canyon.

Sometimes we hear best by just sitting in silence.

  4. TBH, I suspect the origin of the #OmaghHum is electromagnetic pollution of some sort. I can hear/feel electromagnetic currents, though I'm a bit sensitive to that phenomena because of my ASD.

"A mysterious, low-frequency noise has settled over the small town of #Omagh in #NorthernIreland, and is keeping people awake.
It’s called 'The Hum,' and reports of this phenomenon have been popping up all over the world for decades.
Despite numerous experiences with the noise, no one knows what exactly causes it."
