The mysterious sound known as The Hum has been reported worldwide for decades, yet its source often remains impossible to find. Researchers tested whether people who hear it have exceptional low-frequency hearing or measurable sounds produced inside their ears, but neither explanation fit most participants. The strongest possibility is that many cases involve low-frequency tinnitus, even though the sound seems completely external.

Bwlch y Ddeufaen is so named for its two impressive monoliths, but there's more going on here; near the eastern stone there's a fan-shape of small standing stones, barely tall enough to see over the reedy grass. Millenia later, Roman soldiers marched through this pass where pylons now stride. The past and present leach into each other here.

I know people who feel/hear vibrations I do not.

We live near a major freight line, and get vibration from passing trains several times a day. I hear those.
Once I sat at Plateau Point, listening to the evening hum of the Grand Canyon.
Sometimes we hear best by just sitting in silence.

TBH, I suspect the origin of the #OmaghHum is electromagnetic pollution of some sort. I can hear/feel electromagnetic currents, though I'm a bit sensitive to that phenomena because of my ASD.
