  1. System information: xSysInfo 0.6

xSysInfo is a comprehensive system information utility for AmigaOS.

  4. Hi everyone. Next Rust sysinfo crate release is kinda stuck at the moment as I'm trying to get the missing parts for the NetBSD support. Currently I'm missing:

If anyone knows how to get the missing information, it'd be awesome!

Otherwise, well, I'll just release an incomplete support.

  5. We have talked to Stefan Reinauer about his re-write of the system information tool SysInfo, called xSysInfo. Besides, a new version is available:

  13. A few tooters have asked me what my config is, at which I replied that I run the Fediverse, platform agnostic. Then one asked what one of my main horizontal display systems run, at which I now reply with

    ` uname -a`
    {Linux devakprata 6.12.13-2-liquorix-amd64 #1 ZEN SMP PREEMPT liquorix 6.12-18~mx23ahs (2025-02-10) x86_64 GNU/Linux}

    **Note**
    I left the results of

`cat /proc/cpuinfo` out since I would get that 16 times!!!

  14. Started with converting my#Amiga1200 to a #PiStorm driven computer. Did a speed test before, with an Individual Computer ACA 68030 card, and later with the PiStorm installed (Configured as a 68040 CPU): It became a freaking speed beast. #RaspberryPi #Retro #Computing #SysInfo #Commodore #

  15. Would I just want #pstree maybe? i've mostly used GUI's for that sort of thing. i know PID/ pidof etc. type stuff, but less than tertiary... oh! hey Look! It's something shiny! Shine on.

    **Let's say I want to**:
$> [bash / command to find processes by character-string] -i "regex or not" | tee ~/found.txt

where my found.txt will show result about processes, per my desired string appearing in something about that process (what #htop gives on "search")

What is the point of search HTOP then? Because: The search is correct.
    it doesn't read "Filter" 🦤
    (or does it?)

  16. Small question to everyone using the sysinfo crate (crates.io/crates/sysinfo). Would you be interested into having serde serialization? Asking because at least two persons asked for it and I'm not sure if it's worth it to add it...

So I'm opening a poll for it.
