Yet, supervised (kohonen) self-organizing maps are so useful, and I welcome there recent revival!

Using an electrochemical process, they extracted lead iodide at 94% efficiency and then purified it to 99.999% through #crystal growth. The resulting solar cells performed at 21% efficiency, matching control cells made from brand new commercial lead.
