On Insiders today, you could hear the potential campaign sound bites & slogans in the speechy bits of Albo’s interview. For instance:
“we choose progress rather than protest / We choose outcomes rather than outrage / We deliver real change.” (Doing this from memory & scanty notes so may not be 100% verbatim but you get the idea & will probably hear much much more of the same in the coming weeks & months…). 🫤

“On a lighter note” Albo says he’s never yelled at Toto & Raf opines that you’ve failed as a dog-parent if you have to YELL at your dog… 🐶 (Apparently Barnaby’s on air dog yelling went viral. TG I missed that. 🫤)

On #soundbites, no matter how bad a thing is, it's not as bad as can be unless the use of soundbites has begun.

Somehow they bring out the worst of people (selfishiness, dehumanisation, contentment with easy answers) and people pick out the worst thing to contribute on a topic as a soundbite (often "they're/you're not a victim of a wrong but a problem that deserved to be targeted and I'm not alone saying this because I'm using this slogan that I think is popular; people have my back, loner").
