"Africa" is a song by American rock band #Toto, the tenth and final track on their fourth studio album, #TotoIV (1982). It was the second single from the album released in Europe (in the United Kingdom), in June 1982 on #CBSRecords, and the third in the United States, in October 1982 through #ColumbiaRecords. The song was written by band members #DavidPaich and #JeffPorcaro, produced by the band, and mixed by engineer #GregLadanyi. Critics praised its composition.
