Non si tratta di un’operazione legata alla sicurezza, ma di una nuova forma di pressione amministrativa: vengono consegnati ordini di sospensione dei lavori e demolizione anche a strutture che esistono da vent’anni, molte delle quali non avevano mai ricevuto contestazioni.

Civilians on the ground say this is the largest restriction in movement in recent memory.

The Palestinian Authority: Enforcer of Occupation, Betrayer of the Homeland
The Palestinian Authority (PA), with the support of the United States and zionist entity, has long positioned itself as a representative of the Palestinian people, yet its actions tell a very different story. The Oslo Accords, mass persecution of Palestinian resistance fighters, treacherous assassinations, and the current siege of Jenin Camp, reveal that the Palestinian Authority is in fact a force belonging to the “israeli” occupation acting as a pawn for US imperialism. This is clear within Micheal Fenzel, the U.S. Security Coordinator between “israel” and the Palestinian Authority. Before Fenzel, it was Keith Dayton who acted as the coordinator between the two treacherous forces. Dayton made it his mission to promote “peace” with “israel” while also promoting dependency on the Palestinian Authority’s security forces for “protection” and maintaining “law” and “order”. In reality, the PA has only spread terror and violence against its people, while never actually supporting any activity against those who are responsible for the massacres in Gaza and the West Bank: “israel”. The Palestinian Authority is an enabler of these massacres as well as they have constantly pursued many resistance fighters, while also acting as an obstacle to liberation.
Now as the siege of Jenin Camp continues for more than a month, the PA is carrying out Fenzel’s plan, a U.S.-devised strategy aimed at eliminating the resistance in the West Bank to pave the way for normalization and defeatism to be integrated into Palestinian society. However, the resistance is an idea, and ideas can never die. The resistance will always remain a key element within every Palestinian community and its culture. Hence, why the Palestinian Authority has failed to achieve any of its goals during the ongoing siege of Jenin Camp. The mothers of the camp and the rest of the community remain steadfast despite the siege which has left the camp without water, electricity, and basic resources while silencing journalists who seek to expose the atrocities. The PA has adopted the language and tactics of the occupation, labeling resistance fighters as “criminals”, “outlaws”, and “Iranian mercenaries” to justify their treacherous acts. However, the true criminals are those who attack their people, and the true “outlaws” are those who act against the will of the masses and the nature of their homeland— which is resistance. It is absurd for the PA to label the resistance as “Iranian mercenaries,” as the resistance solely directs its rifles against the occupation carrying out the will of the Palestinian masses. Meanwhile, the PA carries out the will of the American-“israeli” agenda, directing its rifles against their people.
It is no secret that Iran supports the Palestinian resistance this support is unconditional and will be directed towards any faction regardless of their ideology and political affiliation. Yasser Arafat, the former head of the Palestinian Authority itself has reached out to Iran for funding after the launch of the second intifada. Iran responded with support despite Yasser being an agent of Oslo, as Iran intended to support the uprising against “israel”. Therefore, the PA carrying out these acts of violence against its own people under the pretext of the resistance being “Iranian mercenaries” is in fact an invalid claim to be made as the PA’s ongoing siege has made them no different than the “israeli” occupation forces. After all, the PA has already carried out multiple assassinations of Palestinians in Jenin Camp, while also abducting over 50 individuals from the camp and demolishing its infrastructure.
In its recent act of betrayal, the PA has borrowed tactics from the IOF as they ran over and abducted Ali Masarwa, out of hopes of pressuring his brother, Moslim Masarwa to surrender himself and no longer participate in resistance activities. Additionally, they have been burning down homes as a form of collective punishment on the camp and have recently prohibited Al-Jazeera from broadcasting in the West Bank due to their reporting of Jenin Camp, mirroring the actions of the “israeli” government, which banned Al-Jazeera in the occupied lands. The PA’s acts of treachery has not affected the ongoing resistance activities in the West Bank as 3 settlers were killed in a resistance shooting operation that targeted a settlers bus in “Kedumim” near #Qalqilya. The executors who were from Jenin withdrew safely leading to celebrations across the West Bank humiliating the Palestinian Authority’s futile efforts to suppress resistance in the West Bank.
The ongoing siege has resulted in the ascension of eight martyrs at the hands of the treacherous Palestinian Authority. These include the young child Rebhi Al-Shalabi, the commander Yazid Ja’ayseh, the young child Mohammed Imad Al-Amer, the young child Majd Zidane, the elderly Mohammed Abu Libdeh, journalist Shatha Al-Sabbagh, the father Mahmoud Al-Jalqamousi, and his son, Qasem Al-Jalqamousi. Since October 7, the treacherous authority assassinated 18 Palestinians, while not once pointing its rifles at the enemy carrying out the genocide in Gaza.
The homeland will forever honor the martyrs of Jenin Camp, while those who betrayed it will find Jenin Camp to be the graveyard for invaders. Shatha’s legacy will live on within every journalist who continues to expose the truth regarding the Authority’s malicious activities. Shatha rose becoming a martyr of the truth, following in the footsteps of Nizar Banat who also reported the truth about the Palestinian Authority. It is worth noting that Shatha is the sister of the martyr Motasem Al-Sabbagh who was martyred by the IOF in March 2023
Despite the siege, the people of Jenin Camp draw their strength from the sacrifices of the martyrs who have set their sights on liberating Al-Quds as well as from the steadfast support of mothers, children, and local communities who refuse to accept defeat. For them, resistance is not merely an act of defiance but a way of life, an unshakable commitment to liberating Palestine from occupation and betrayal.

The Azzun Phenomenon:
Our attentive readers may have noticed updates every now and then about settlers being injured by stones or Molotovs in the modest town of Azzun, #Qalqilya: a simple search yields about 60 such reported operations in the last year.
These operations, while simple, turn out to be very effective at shattering settler security. Azzun's stone-throwing prowess is not a coincidence; in fact, the choice to carry out these operations here is a strategic one.
The town of just 8,000 residents and 9 km squared—which has offered 80 prisoners and five martyrs in recent years (as of 9/16/23)—is located at a historically important crossroads. Yet, this small town has become a nightmare for settlers.
In August, at least 25 settlers were wounded by such operations in Azzun alone, rivaling injuries of resistance strongholds such as Jenin and Nablus. Last week there, four settlers were wounded and nearly a dozen of their cars were destroyed in one day.
Settlers here are specifically targeted on a major vein of zionist infrastructure: settler bypass road Route 55, passing through Azzun. This road has actually been around since 300 BC. It was established formally in 1935, and this racist road was blocked often by Palestinians during the first intifada. As a result, the occupation built a number of alternative bypass roads. In 2002 amidst the second intifada, it became a settler bypass road, with its purpose being to give settlers a Jewish-only detour such that they can avoid the apparent danger of Palestinian areas.
This stone-throwing has become a major problem for the occupation, who increased its security on Qalqilya for almost two months now, arresting a number of alleged stone-throwers. Today, the steadfast resistance of Azzun continue to create nightmares for settlers despite the siege, shattering their glass, destroying their cars, and targeting them with rudimentary explosive devices made at home. In all forms, resistance increases, and Azzun marches on the path of Jenin, Nablus, Tulkarem, and Gaza.
