Il campo profughi di Nur Shams è stato evacuato nel gennaio 2025 nel corso di un'operazione israeliana su larga scala in Cisgiordania, che aveva l'obiettivo di garantire la libertà di azione militare in vaste aree del nord della Cisgiordania e di distruggere le «infrastrutture del terrorismo».

Al-Quds Brigades – Jenin Battalion: Two IED Attacks Confirmed Against Occupation Forces in Sila
The Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of Islamic Jihad, have announced successful operations carried out by their combat formations in the Sila Al-Harithiya and Sila Al-Dhar areas within the Jenin Battalion’s sector. Following the restoration of communication with one of the fighting units in the Sila Al-Dhar company, the Brigades confirmed that at dawn today, fighters detonated an improvised explosive device against an enemy infantry foot patrol during the occupation’s incursion into the town, achieving confirmed casualties.
