@memory Or, you know, they could do the right thing and actually productize GCP/GCE in a way that made it not feel like some college kids weekend long bender project - and fix bugs, tighten up documentation, instrument it properly, and, you know, make it a real toolset that's attractive, stable, consistent, and useful.

@deightonrobbie @JohanEmpa Likewise, when the company has HQ in the EU or the UK but they are #offshoring #production, where do you account it for? I think companies must be made accountable for the full #productlifecycle, and not least, PAY FOR IT
(at the moment in the UK the cost of #recyling all the plastic crap is on #localauthorities rather than on #manufacturers. I know that burden has changed to manufacturers in the EU, not if foreign). -
