Various barriers due to the changing OS (the first mass extinction was no 32-bit apps, years back (which was unnecessary), but it wasn't the last) have left basically no title from the early days of the AppStore still viable.

I've cursed Apple for this many times before, but this morning I am lamenting the absence of the superb Vectrex Regeneration -- a Vectrex emulator targeting the iPad. What a great experience that was.

Attempting to get Google GCE to act as GitHub Actions runners using https://github.com/mchmarny/grunner, which seems like a good fit. GCE side all gets generated, but the self-hosted runners are not created in the GitHub repository. GitHub PAT generates a good token, then not sure where to go next. Anyone here have any experience with this type of set… before I go ask elsewhere?

I've been knocking out #EdTech certifications today, the first day of summer break. So far I've done Clever Teacher and Trainer and ParentSquare's Teacher 101.

I plan to get the #GCE stuff done again this summer (it's expired.) Anything else I should be doing?

I may hit up some CodeHS programming certifications and some actual Cybersecurity ones if they don't cost too much.

@memory Or, you know, they could do the right thing and actually productize GCP/GCE in a way that made it not feel like some college kids weekend long bender project - and fix bugs, tighten up documentation, instrument it properly, and, you know, make it a real toolset that's attractive, stable, consistent, and useful.

HAHAHAHHAHA WHO AM I KIDDING. This is google. If it ain't Search, it's not a real product.
