Pah, who cares about Android? 😉

The ONLY important number is #Debian-#PopCon. Of course 🙂

Last year, when I checked, there were 1053 installations of Matrix clients (most of them nheko) and 3124 of #Jabber clients (top 3: #Gajim, #Psi, and #Dino).

Also, 119 Matrix server installs (synapse) and 904 #XMPP servers (most were #prosody, then #ejabberd).

    qa.debian.org/popcon.php

OTOH, I'm using Gajim as my Matrix client via #slidge 🤔

  15. I don't get in my feelings about these polls--I write about Infocom games, after all--but despite playing and enjoying a ton of lightweight triple-A fare, I have failed at least four times to find out what's on the other side of Skyrim's opening.

  20. If you wonder why you should join surveys like #popularitycontest in #Debian (popcon.debian.org/):

It helps your favourite #distribution to see which packages are actually used and hence might influence e.g. if a buggy package is being kicked out or fixed. Or if it's considered to be a key package.

Additionally it gives a good feeling to the maintainer of a package to see that his package is actually used, even if it only shows up with like 10 installations. He might have expected less. 😉
