Another classic blast from my adolescent past.

I, like most, got to Operation Ivy by working backwards from Rancid.
This album was played a billion times during our house parties and basement punk shows.

And as severely misguided punk skater kids, we’d put songs from it on to mixtapes that we’d give to hot punk girls we wanted.

I still prefer the first three Rancid records over Energy, but again, the nostalgia and love of that time keeps me coming back to it.
