About the song "Corona"
Boon wrote the song following a trip to Mexico on Independence Day in 1982. Upon waking up on the beach, the band observed a poor woman collecting empty beer bottles for a small deposit. Moved by this poverty, Boon wrote a politically charged protest song about the survival of the underclass.
