“The ultimate punk protest album.” ~ Mojo
The Clash release their debut album on April 8, 1977. (The US version didn't arrive until July 1979.) It's considered by many to be the greatest and most important rock and roll albums ever. It's #102 on Rolling Stone's "500 Greatest Albums of All Time." #theclash #70spunk #70srock #rock #rockmusic #joestrummer #mickjones #punk #music #musicsky #musiciansky

Today (December 14) in 1979 marks the 45th anniversary of the release of London Calling in the UK (the U.S. release date was January 1980). Still easily one of the greatest albums ever recorded, and I listen to it at least once every year - who am I kidding - multiple times every year.

@themusicalroad compared us to @stoogeland and @electricsixofficial in their review of MOOD IS LOW “It evokes a nostalgic feel, reminiscent of the Stooges and Electric 6, combining their energetic styles into a unique blend.”
This one we’re quite comfortable with - Raw Power and Danger High Voltage are both on heavy repeat at Nasty HQ
