BikeABQ on Instagram: "🚴‍♀️🌿 Celebrate Trails Day – April 25 🌿🚶‍♂️ Trails connect our city—and this Saturday is a great excuse to get out and use them 💛 Looking for ways to celebrate? Here are a few ideas: ✨ Ride your favorite trail (or finally check out a new one) ✨ Link a few trails together and make your own loop adventure ✨ Invite a friend who’s new to biking or walking trails ✨ Do a coffee ride ☕ + trail combo ✨ Pick up trash along your route and leave it better than you found it ✨ Snap photos and share your favorite trail moments Make it social, make it chill, make it yours—just get out there and enjoy the network we’re lucky to have. 👉 To wrap up the day, the City is hosting a Trail Mixer at the Rail Yards (6–8 PM) if you want to connect with other folks, learn about upcoming trail projects (including the Rail Trail), and celebrate together. See you out on the trails."

  4. attended a press conference today by the city #oneabq to address yet another cyclist death (killed by a driver not stopping at a trail crossing). been going to these for fallen bike comrades for nearly 30 years. no matter which city it is, it is mostly "thoughts and prayers" type responses. no real sweeping infrastructure changes etc.

the mayor of paris, this is not. 😞
