I am thinking of adapting grim metal bedlam to a mork bork based skirmish system kinda like for hidden psalm but I am not a lawyer… can anyone give me the cliff notes of how an open license works? I have spent years developing the setting and don’t want to lose the ownership of my setting. Or get sued for not checking a box. All help is appreciated

Curious if anyone is using #Grimoire for #nextcloud to game on? I can't even find any screenshots of it.

I've already got #foundryvtt and nextcloud running on my server, I don't dislike foundry but having something integrated with the platform I already use for video chat might be nice. Plus, I have an extensive library on nextcloud.

Immediately after my Mörk Borg campaign ended I asked my players a follow-up question: “As you die and the world ends, do you see the Shimmering Fields?” (Referring to the setting’s equivalent of heaven.)

I had them each respond in private, without sharing their answers with each other.

Still riding high after finishing my Mörk Borg campaign yesterday. Five adventures across 14 sessions isn’t a huge amount, but the game ended with a satisfying conclusion instead of petering out like a lot of campaigns are prone to do.

Played Rotblack Sludge lastnight. Someone rolled up with a custom character with 4 monkeys and that were surprisingly resilient, but by flavour sometimes ignored commands

I decided to make the player roll 50/50 if the monkeys even wanted to attack. It made things really fun. They got names, and even had to roll about weather they cared to take weapons when players tried to put a sword in their hands. Eventually as the monkies died the last monkey I gave a free pass on "care" rolls.

It wound up wielding the Wretched Royalty player's talking sword, but decided it didn't understand what the sword was saying, so had no effect.

Wir haben heute das #MörkBorg-Abenteuer Tragic Castle Obsession gespielt/angefangen. (Ob wir weitere Termine finden, ist noch nicht klar.) Das war richtig abgefahren! ^^

Ein Zauberer (noch nie nen Tanzen-Spruch als „Angriffszauber“ erlebt), ein geflüchteter Adliger (plus sprechendem Pferd plus sarkastischem und enttäuschtem Schwert plus einem kleinen Äffchen, das den Adligen eigentlich immer ignorierte) und mein Armeedeserteur mit scharfen, übergroßen Zähnen, dem Hufeisen des Pferdes vom TOD und einem Totenschädel, mit dem die ganze Zeit gesprochen und geflüstert wurde. Und das Schloss, in das wir einfach mal so reinspaziert sind, war auch mehr als schräg.

Ich hoffe, wir spielen noch mal weiter, wir haben in den zwei Stunden nur etwa ein Drittel geschafft, meinte SL @bohemiaspielkunst

Dad of the day: Another player in a friend's online Mörk Borg campaign who got cursed to vomit up 1d4 dragonflies every time he spoke, yesterday, and who stuck flawlessly to finishing every sentence with "Bleh. [clicks the d4 button]” for the rest of the session... in part because it was absolutely cracking up his kid, audible in the background. #TTRPG #MorkBorg
